Environmental Law Foundation / Imperial College water pollution conference finds its mark

Invitation secured to present to Parliament Environmental Audit Committee

Real Branding was pleased to support the Environmental Law Foundation (ELF) in relation to this brilliant if sobering event at Imperial College, held on 22nd March. Opened by Philip Dunne MP, who chairs the Parliament Environmental Audit Committee, its speakers included grass-roots campaigners, community citizen scientists, academics and legal and technical professionals. Shocking local community evidence shown included the destruction of great swathes of plant life in the River Wye (caused by excess farm nutrient run-off) and of marine life around Hayling Island and Chichester Harbour, and along the North East  coast (all caused by very heavy sewage pollution). That evidence was backed up by statistics from the academics and followed by ideas about potential remedial action, from the lawyers.

Philip Dunne MP has subsequently invited ELF to present to the Parliament Environmental Audit Committee.

The full schedule of the speakers and topics is given below. For additional information on ELF (of which Real Branding MD Michael Taite is a trustee) please see: https://elflaw.org/
